RESTRICTIONS/DEPOSIT INFORMATION

$250 Damage/Reservation Deposit. 30 days required for cancellation or change of reservation or deposit and one-half the rental amount will not be refunded. Check-In time: 3:00 PM; Check-out time: 10:00AM. Maximum of six people. NO PETS. NO SMOKING. MINIMUM AGE OF PERSON RENTING THE CHALET: 25 YEARS OLD. All occupants must be a minimum of 18 years old. EXCEPTION: Parents whose children are at least 16 years old and who will occupy the chalet with their children may rent the chalet. All occupants must sign a Personal Liability Release at check-in. Rent is payable in advance. No refund after check in. When Sugar Mountain has snow or ice on the roads, all vehicles must be four wheel drive or have snow chains installed on two wheel drive vehicles. Please see the Frequently Asked Questions page for snow chains available at the chalet. |
RENTAL PROCEDURES
Chalet payment using personal and guaranteed checks
STEP 1.Tell the chalet owner you want to rent the chalet by completing the chalet reservation form. The chalet owner will email or call you to verify receipt of the reservation form.
STEP 2.The chalet owner will place your name in the chalet calendar for 5 days while waiting for your reservation/damage deposit.
STEP 3.After receiving your deposit, the chalet owner will call or E-Mail you to verify he has received your deposit.
STEP 4.Not later than 30 days prior to check-in, send 50% of the rent due to the chalet owner.
STEP 5.After receiving the 50% rental payment, the owner certify mails directions to the chalet, a short rental agreement, and additional information.
STEP 6. Sign the rental agreement and send the agreement and the remaining rental amount to the chalet owner not later than 14 days prior to check-in. If preferred, the final rental payment may be made using guaranteed funds (certified check, money order, or cash) on arrival at the chalet.
STEP 7.On arrival at the chalet, the owner will meet you at the chalet and provide a key to the chalet, inspect the chalet for damage, and provide safety information about the chalet.
STEP 8. After completing your vacation, the chalet owner will meet you at the chalet to inspect the chalet, pick-up the chalet key, and, if there is no damage, return your damage/reservation deposit.
Chalet payment using PayPal
STEP 1. Tell the chalet owner you want to rent the chalet by completing the chalet reservation form. The chalet owner will email or call you to verify receipt of the reservation form.
STEP 2. Pay for the chalet rental by selecting the requested weekly rate at my PayPal page.
STEP 3. After receiving your reservation, PayPal rent and deposit payments, the chalet owner will call or E-Mail you to verify he has received your PayPal rent and deposit payment.
STEP 4. The owner certify mails directions to the chalet, a short rental agreement, and additional information.
STEP 5. Sign the rental agreement and send the agreement to the chalet owner not later than 14 days prior to check-in..
